About Me
Hi! My name is Clare and I am a twenty-three year old recent graduate of the University of Notre Dame. I was lucky enough to get a great job (that involves shoes!) and so moved back to my hometown of St. Louis, MO.
It’s about time I started my own blog — I’ve been addicted to reading them for over a year! I got started with EatLikeMe, then KathEats, and now my googlereader has too many to count. I truly believe these healthy living blogs played a big part in my eating disorder recovery, and so am eager to become more involved in the blogging community. (Plus, I NEVER win any giveaways and having a bog to link to should help! 🙂 )
I’m not quite sure what shape this blog will take, but as the title shows, I’ve got a lot on my plate right now. I’ll hopefully be sharing stories about healthy cooking and eating, fitting in exercise and race training, keeping up with my harp playing, and maintaining a fun family and social life. Please see my other pages for a more detailed explanation of the different areas of my life that I’m working on fitting in!
I’m not a writer, photographer, or nutritionist, but I’ll do my best! Please feel free to contact me with any questions or comments at cbrady3@alumni.nd.edu. Thanks for reading!
you are gorgeous 🙂
Thank you!! That was so sweet and brightened my day:)
Welcome to the blogging world from a fellow St. Louisan and Notre Dame alum.
What great things to have in common. Thanks!
Hey, thanks so much for checking out my blog! I love meeting other stl people. What half marathon are you training for?
St. Louis Track Club has a half that starts in downtown Clayton on November 7th. The route is kind of weird…up Forsyth until you get to Forest Park and then loop back, but we’ll see how it goes! I’m also running the Go St. Louis 10K this weekend!
I have a lot of stuff that I’m currently juggling, but I take it one day at a time and it seems to be working out.
Good luck on the half marathon training, I ran my first half marathon last year and hopefully I’ll be able to train and race again before my wedding.
You’re beautiful and what a fun career in the shoe industry. I would love to work in fashion industry,
I look forward to following your journey.

Hey Clare! I found your blog via Carrie’s Moves ‘N Munchies 😀
I really enjoyed your post on her blog. I can totally relate your story. I’m actually live right down the street from Notre Dame, but I chose to attend a college out East where I run track. I used to blog, and I found it somewhat helpful…except I deleted my first one and moved on. Again, I have found it very useful in my eating disorder recovery. I love reading healthy eating blogs, too! I was nearly a strict pescatarian in the last semester of my sophomor yr of college but I noticed my intention to do so created some disordered eating habits. Someday, I think I’ll venture back to it again. But for now, Im happy with my fish (and sometimes chicken :D).
I just got really excited when I saw that you went to ND! I still might go there for grad school. I also look forward to reading your blog!
Maria
